This may look like a box of bagged up soil to those NOT in the know, but this special delivery caused much excitement at the Agents of Field HQ this evening: it’s our rhubarb! We’re going to be trying out three varieties on the plot: Victoria, Stockbridge Arrow and Polish Raspberry.

Now we just have to plant it, keep it fed and watered, and be very, very, very patient. Meanwhile, we hope the rhubarb that we planted in our back garden last year will yield something to keep us going through 2014…
