The peppers are growing, the potatoes are chitting and winter is starting to bite.
But as someone who likes to keep their glass half-filled, the cold weather hasn’t deterred me from getting out on the plot with drill in one hand and camera in the other. And my latest allotment mission unearthed some rather wonderful treasures…

Oh, my goodness – your back! I look forward to hear that there are no repercussions! Well done, though.

Great video – very professional 😉 Anyway, how happy you must feel to have found the water tank. Good luck with the butternut squash.

Thanks Helen. I had no idea the tank was there, the allotment Gods were smiling on me that day.

Great video: you have a natural, confident, relaxed style in front of the camera.

Very kind of you to say. I would say it’s more of a ‘blagging’ style and hope for the best though

Hahaha ahhh bless you dragging that water tank across soggy ground. I’ve just got a water tank too (using mine for planting as it’s no longer water tight) but luckily I had some chivalrous men put it in place for me.

I too could have done with a few chivalrous men’s help, however, it may have drawn some funny looks from the old boys on the allotment.. Doh! I like your idea of using it as a planter though.
