These are competitive times my friends. The autumn harvest is arriving in our kitchen thick and fast, and Soph’s cooking skills are putting me to shame.

But fear not, for now is the time for the phoenix to rise from the flames, and create a little ‘magic’ of his own. It’s time for me to pickle some beetroot!
