Yesterday, I returned from two weeks in Australia to find that autumn has suddenly arrived here in the UK. My trip Down Under may have been unexpected and brief, but I enjoyed the novelty of experiencing a second spring this year. From flowering magnolias in Melbourne to fragrant lemon blossoms in Sydney, I tried to soak up as much of the exotic flora as I could.
While I recover from the jet lag, I’ll leave you with some pictures from my Antipodean wanderings…
Beautiful! How delightful to experience another spring in only six months.

You lucky thing! We were in Adelaide this time last year. Brought back very lush memories, how lush it all smells too. Oh well, here I come winter!
