Late Summer in the Kitchen Garden

It’s hard to believe we’re into September already, where has the year gone? But this isn’t the time to sit idle. It’s harvest season, so it’s go go go!

The kitchen garden is overflowing with fresh fruit and veg, but you don’t hear me complaining. Soph’s been waving her culinary wand in the new kitchen, coming up with fantastic recipes, which yours truly has benefitted from. And what we haven’t given to family and neighbours, it’s been blanched and frozen for those winter months ahead.

But don’t take my word for it. Grab a brew, take a pew and watch our latest video. We’re harvesting crops, sowing seeds and introducing you to garden blogging sensations, Simon and Simone.

Hope you enjoy it!

  1. Love the video Add – thank you for taking the time and the trouble to make them – they really cheer up my office-bound days! Hope you’re still glad you took the plunge? … The kitchen garden looks amazing! Will you be showing us what you’re doing with the rest of the garden?! Keep up the great work!

  2. Loved the video apart from the Simon and Simone segment which to me was superfluous, it jarred, didn’t need it. Enjoyed all the rest though and what you have achieved in your kitchen garden is quite remarkable in such a short period of time. Hats off to Ade.
