About

Ade & Soph 3

Ade and Sophie AKA Agents of Field burst onto the gardening media scene in 2014 after starting an irreverent blog about their adventures on their urban allotment just outside London. They quickly garnered a loyal following of gardeners and foodies worldwide and in 2016, they won Blog of the Year at the Garden Media Awards. In 2017 their blog was recommended in The Sunday Times and Gardeners’ World Magazine and in 2018 they were finalists in the Green and Eco category at the UK Blog Awards. Most recently, they won Vlog of the Year at the GMG Awards 2021 for their YouTube channel.

At the end of 2018, they decided to fully embrace ‘the good life’ and quit their high-flying film and television careers in London, to move to rural Suffolk, to live a simple life in the country, growing their own food and living in sync with the seasons.

They have spoken at events and venues including the RHS Cardiff Flower Show, The Royal Norfolk Show, Woburn Abbey Garden Show and Gin Temple Norwich, and regularly feature on BBC Radio Suffolk.

They are ambassadors for the charity Greenfingers.

AGENT ADE

With a passion for plants and a background in television, Ade is a bit of an avant-gardener. He is usually found nurturing his fruit, veg and flowers in his kitchen gardening and capturing these magical, muddy moments on film.

In 2014, Ade took his horticultural know-how to the next level by embarking on some further training with The Royal Horticultural Society at Capel Manor, Regent’s Park. He qualified in September 2015.

Ade has presented on the QVC channel, hosted the horticultural stage at the Royal Norfolk Show, and spoken at events and venues all over the country including Gardeners’ World Live, RHS Hampton Court Flower Show, RHS Wisley, RHS Cardiff and the Toby Buckland Garden Festival. He also produces film and video content for outdoor festivals and brands including Woburn Abbey Garden Show, Vitavia, Muntons and Dalefoot Composts.

    1. Hello Frank!

Thanks so much for nominating us for a Liebster award, we’re very flattered! We have been nominated previously for this award but decided not to accept it as we already exceed the maximum number of followers as specified in the rules. We’re too honest for our own good!

But we’re delighted that you nominated us and said such lovely things about our blog. This means just as much to us! 🙂 Thank you for your kind words and do visit again soon!

  4. People around here know better than to ask me about my bees. I pull out my iPhone to show them my latest carved log hive and can brag it up until the cows come home. 🙂 We also grow as many bee loving flowers as we can. Watching the bees on flowers gives us a quiet pleasure knowing they don’t have far to go plus for me, there are UNLIMITED photo opportunities. 🙂
